Serenity

A working knowledge of PSP is assumed.

SUPPLIES NEEDED

Tube of choice. I am using the beautiful art of  Molly Harrison which can be found at CDO.

Font used is Ambiance Swash

NOTE: This tutorial is written for the materials I used. If you are using something different, you may need to adjust some settings.

IPL = In Palette Layers

Reminder: Delete template layers as you use them. Unless stated otherwise.

LET'S BEGIN

Install both masks into your mask folder.

Open template and other supplies in psp.

Duplicate the template and delete the original. IPL, delete the credit layers.

Click on the white background layer. Add a New Raster Layer. Fill with a color from your tube. I used 4cccbb. Now, apply the dmsk_0673. Layers - Merge - Merge Group. Now apply the rnd fade mask. Again, Layers - Merge, Merge Group. Use the raster deform tool to pull the sides of the mask  out a bit. Reduce opacity to 80%.

Do this for all the bg layers. Start with the double square bg. Select All - float - defloat. New Raster layer. Fill with the color black. Select None. Give a drop shadow. H & V = 1. Opacity = 60. Blur = 4. Color is black.
Repeat this for all the other bg layers.

I chose to leave the 4 rectangle shape black, and give it the same drop shadow. (do not delete the template layer.)

You should have paper 1 open in your psp. Click on it and Go to Adjust - Automatic Saturation Enhancement. Put a tic/check in Bias normal and Strength normal.

Click on the h rectangle layer. Select All - float - defloat. Paste, as a new layer, paper 2 from my supplies. Center it to how you like it. Selections - Invert. Delete. Select None.

Click the circle layer. There are three different ways to fill this layer.
1. Select all - float - defloat. Paste, as a new layer paper 1 from my supplies. Arrange the paper in the circle the way you like it. Selections - Invert. Delete. Select None.
or
2. Select all - float - defloat. New Raster Layer. Open your foreground color palette. Click on the pattern tab. Select the paper 1 from my supplies. Angle = 0. Scale = 100. Fill the new raster layer. Select None.
or
3. Select all - float - defloat. New Raster Layer. Right click on paper 1 and copy. Right click your circle and paste into selection. Rotate until you like what you have. Select None.
(I chose 2. simply because I like the way it fit into the circle best. That's just me.)

Click on paper 1. Go to Adjust - Blur - Gaussian blur. Set Radius to 100.  Now go to Adjust - Automatic Saturation Enhancement. Put a tic/check on Bias Normal and strength Normal.

Click on V rectangle. Select All - Float - Defloat. New Raster Layer. Right click paper 1 and copy. Right click V rectangle and paste into selection. Select None.

Paste, as a new layer, the full image of the tube. By that, I mean with the background intact.
Mirror the image. Increase size up to 150.
Go to Adjust - Automatic Saturation Enhancement. Put a tic/check in Bias normal and Strength normal.
Reduce opacity to 60%.
Move the image over the double squares so that it is off centered to the right. You want some of the image to hang over onto the V rectangle. Once you have it as you like, Restore opacity back to 100%.
IPL, right click and duplicate the image. Hide the duplicate layer.
Click on the double square layer. Select all - float - defloat - Invert. Click on the 1st image layer, Delete. Select None.
Unhide the duplicate image.
Click the V rectangle. Select All - float - defloat - Invert. Click on the duplicate image layer, Delete. Select None.
IPL, move the duplicate image layer to just above the V rectangle template layer.

Paste, as a new layer, the wooden plaque. Move it to the upper right of the tag. (see my tag)
Give it the same drop shadow you used before.
Paste, as a new layer, the text Serenity. Center it in the plaque. Drop shadow.
Paste, as a new layer, the chain. Place it just below the Serenity text. Drop shadow. Paste, as a new layer, the heart pendant. Move it to the right side of the chain so it appears to be hanging from it. Drop shadow.

Paste, as a new layer, the eucalyptus leaves. Place it center right side of tag. (see my tag) Give a drop shadow.
Paste, as a new layer, the purple flower. Position it at the bottom of the eucalyptus stem. (see my tag) Give drop shadow.
Paste, as a new layer, each of the two lilies. IPL, move them below the purple flower. Arrange in the middle of the eucalyptus. (see my tag) Give drop shadow.

Paste, as a new layer, the butterfly. Place it center left side of the purple flower. Give a drop shadow.

Paste, as a new layer, the coronas and the sparkles. Keep them centered.
