Silver and Gold

A working knowledge of PSP is assumed.

Supplies Needed

Tube of choice. I am using an image from the shop of VeryMany.

Scrap Kit SilverNGold.

Background mask of choice.

Font used is AltastGreeting

NOTE: This tutorial is written for the supplies I used. If you are using something different, you may need to change some settings.

IPL = In Palette Layers

Let's Begin

In PSP, open a new image size 700 x 700. (you can resize later) Flood fill with white.

Paste, as a new layer, paper 6. Apply your mask. Layers - Merge Group.

Paste as a new layer, the silver frame. Use your magic wand and click inside the frame. Selections - Modify - Expand - by 4. Copy paper 4. Click inside the frame and paste into selection. Select None. IPL move the paper layer below the frame layer. Give the frame a drop shadow. H & V = 0. Opacity = 75. Blur = 6. Color black.  IPL, merge the frame layer down to the paper layer.
Rotate the frame left by 90 degrees. Keeping it centered move the frame to the right about an inch or two. Now duplicate. Image - Mirror.

Paste, as a new layer, the gold frame. Use your magic wand and click inside the frame. Selections - Modify - Expand - by 4. Copy paper 3. Click inside the frame and paste into selection. Select None. IPL move the paper layer below the frame layer.
Paste, as a new layer, your tube. Give it a drop shadow. H & V = 1. Opacity = 80. Blur = 8. Color, black. IPL, make sure the tube layer is below the frame layer. To remove the tube sticking outside the frame, Use your rectangle selection tool to trace around the frame. Selections - Invert. Delete. Give the frame the same drop shadow used for the silver frame.
IPL, right click the gold frame and merge down to the tube. Right click again and merge down to the paper layer.  Now, move the gold frame slightly to the left. You want the right side of the gold frame to just cover over the right side of the mirrored silver frame. You may need to adjust the silver frames a bit. (see my tag)

Paste, as a new layer, the gold fan. Move it up above the frames. IPL, move the gold fan below the silver frames layer. Now paste the silver fan just below the gold. Give the silver fan the same shadow used for the frames. IPL right click and merge the silver fan down to the gold. Use your Raster Deform tool and stretch the fan across the silver frames. Leave about an inch on each side. (see my tag). Give the fans a drop shadow. H & V = 1. Opacity = 80. Blur = 6. Color black.

Paste, as a new layer, the dragon fly pin. Place it inside the silver frame to the right. Give a drop shadow. H & V = 1. Opacity = 100. Blur = 5. Color, black. Use your lasso tool to trace out a portion of the stick. Delete. Add a smudge to the edges. (see my tag) Repeat this with the butterfly pin.  Place the butterfly slight below and to the left of the dragonfly.

Paste, as a new layer, the gold stem. Resize down to 75%. Duplicate. Rotate one right to about 40 degrees. The other rotate left about 120 degrees. Place them at the left lower corner of the gold frame.
Paste, as new layers, several of the flowers. Arrange them around the stems and so forth, as you like.
Paste a couple of the small flowers near the butterfly and dragonfly. Give the stems and the flowers a drop shadow. H & V = 1. Opacity = 80. Blur = 6. Color black.
