Kitty

A working knowledge of PSP is assumed.

SUPPLIES NEEDED

Tube of choice. One with a close up works best.
I am using the art of Antracit, which can be found at PicsForDesign

Fonts Bigdey and  Pickwick

NOTE: This tutorial is written for the supplies I used. If you are using something different, you may need to change some settings.

IPL = In Palette Layers

LET'S BEGIN

In PSP, open a new image size 700 x 700 and flood fill with white.

Paste, as a new layer, the pink paper. Keep it centered. Now apply the mergedround mask. In the settings, under orientation, select fit to layer.
Layers - Merge - Merged group.
Use your Raster Deform tool to bring the top and bottom in, just a small pinch. (You can skip this part if you want.)

Paste, as a new layer, the lacy circle. Keep it centered.  IPL, right click and duplicate. Right click the top layer and merge down to the bottom. Give a drop shadow. H & V = 1. Opacity = 50. Blur = 4. Color is black.

Open your text box. Select the font Pickwick. Size 90 bold. Stroke width 1. Set Kerning to 20. Make the foreground and background color black. Now, in all capitals, type out your name, or any text you want. Apply. Copy and then delete. Repaste as a new layer. Move down about an inch or so. Keep centered over the lacy circle. (see my tag).
Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat - Modify - Expand - by 2. New Raster Layer - Fill with white. Select none. IPL, move the white layer below the black. Give the white layer same shadow used for the lacy circle.

Go to your tube. If you are using something different  than I am, you will have to adjust this step.
Rotate tube to the right 18 degrees. Copy. Paste, as a new layer, onto your tag. Select None. Resize down by 50%. Now resize down by 85%.

Click on the black font layer. Select All - Float - Defloat - Modify - Contract - by 1. Keep the ants active.  Move your tube so the eyes fit centered into the text. (see my tag). Selections - Invert. Delete. Select none. Go to Effects - 3D - Inner Bevel. Settings: Bevel 5. Width = 8. Smoothness = 20. Depth = 1. Ambience and Shininess = 0.
IPL, right click the eyes layer and merge down to the black. Right click and merge down to the white.

Go back to your main tube. Edit - Undo Select None. Undo Rotate. Copy. Paste, as a new layer onto your tag. Resize down to 50%. Resize again, down to 50%. Now one more time, down to 50%. Now apply the save Inner Bevel effect you used for the eyes. Give the tube the same drop shadow we've been using. Move the kitty so that it looks to be resting atop the text. I put mine to the left. (see my tag).

Paste, as a new layer, the butterfly. Put it to the upper right. (see my tag)

Open your text box. Font used is Bigdey, size 48. Set kerning to 0. Use only the background color and make it black. Type out your name. Apply. Copy - Cut - Repaste as a new Raster Layer.
Select All - Float - Defloat - Modify - Expand - by 1. New Raster Layer. Fill with white. Select None. IPL, move the white layer below the black. Right click the black and merge down with the white. Give same drop shadow. Move your name to the bottom of your larger name. I put mine slightly off center to the right.

Add copyright and merge all layers. Save.
