Make Each Day Count

A working knowledge of PSP is assumed.

Supplies Needed

Tube of choice. I am using the art of Tamandya, which I purchased from PicsForDesign.

Plug In filter Tramages - Cirquelate.
(If you don't have this plug in, try  HERE)

A floral paper and a leafy paper of your own choosing, and a butterfly.
I chose a fairly large flower print.

font used is Ambrosia

NOTE: This tutorial is written for the supplies I used. If you are using something different, you may need to adjust some settings.

IPL = In Palette Layers

Let's begin
Install masks. Open supplies in psp.

Open BP_template225 in PSP. Duplicate and delete original. IPL, delete credit layer. Also delete text background and shadow layers.
Click on the white background layer. Add a New Raster Layer. Fill with a flower paper. (or a color of choice) Apply the mask dmsk0670. Layers - Merge Group. Now apply the rdfade mask. Layers - Merge Group. Reduce opacity to 80.

Click one of the frame fill layers. Select all - float - defloat. New raster layer. Fill with the same flower paper you used for the masks. Select none. IPL delete original fill layer. Repeat for the other frame layer.

Click on the circle. Select all - float - defloat. New raster layer. Fill with your leafy paper, (or color of choice). Select none. IPL, delete original circle layer. Give circle a drop shadow. H & V = 0. Opacity = 100. Blur = 20. Color is dark shade of green from leafy paper. I used 155817.

Click on text layer. Select all - float - defloat - modify - expand - by 2. New Raster layer. Fill with this color c6e4b5. Select none. Move green layer below black layer and give it a drop shadow. H & V = 2. Opacity = 80. Color is black.

Click on one of the frames. Select all - float - defloat. New Raster Layer. Fill with this color 573c19. New Raster Layer. Selections - Modify - Expand - by 1. Fill with black. Select None. Move black layer below brown and give it same drop shadow last used. Repeat for other frame.

Click on the vertical frame fill layer. Select all - float - defloat. Paste, as a new layer, your tube. Re-size down to fit to your liking. I re-sized mine down to 50%. Selections - Invert. Delete. Select None. IPL, right click and duplicate tube twice. You want 3 total. Give original tube layer same drop shadow last used. Click on tube copy and change blend mode to Multiply. Click on copy 2 of tube. Adjust - Blur - Gaussian blue - set at 4. Change blend mode to Screen and reduce opacity to 80 %.

Click on the horizontal fill layer. Select all - float - defloat. Paste, as a new layer, your tube. I Increased size up to 125%. Center the face into the frame. Selections - Invert. Delete. Select None. IPL, right click tube and duplicate twice. Like before, you want three tube layers. Click on the original tube and give it the same drop shadow last used. Click on tube copy. Go to Effects - Plug Ins - Tramages - Ciquelate. Set to 18. Change blend mode to multiply. Reduce opacity to 50%. Click on copy 2 of tube. Adjust - Blur - Gaussian blur - set to 4. Change blend mode to Screen. Effects - Textures - Blinds. Settings: Width = 4. Opacity = 10. Color is black. Check Horizontal.

Paste, as a new layer, a butterfly, or any other element you like. Position it in the circle between the two frames. (see my tag) Give it a drop shadow.

Click on the vine. Use your lasso tool to trace around the leaves. New Raster Layer. Fill with green. Select None. IPL, move the green layer below the vine layer. Give the vine layer a drop shadow. H & V = 1. Opacity = 80. Blur = 4. Color is black.

For the name I used the font, Ambrosia, size 30 Bold. Stroke width = 1. Click the Direction tab and set text flow to vertical and left. Set Kerning to -120. Foreground and background color is black. Type out name. Copy and then delete. Re-post as a new layer. Position to the left of the vertical frame. Duplicate. Click the original and Adjust - Softness - Soften. Click on the copy and give it a drop shadow. H & V = 2. Opacity = 80. Blur = 6. Color is black.

Add copyright and save as a png.
