IPL = In Palette Layers

Let's Begin

Open template in PSP. Duplicate and then delete original. IPL, delete credit layer.  I'm going to start with my tube. The tube came with 3 sizes, I chose the medium size tube. Copy and paste it, as a new layer. Center it over the frame. Duplicate and move original layer below the frame layer. Still on the duplicate,  use the rectangle selection tool and trace around the frame. Select All - Invert. Delete. Select None. Give the original tube a drop shadow. I used H&V = 1. Opacity = 65. Blur = 6. Color is black.
Click on the duplicate tube layer. Again, use the rectangle selection tool and this time trace around the bottom half of the tube, just below the lower hand. Delete.

Make a black gradient color. Foreground color is #000000. Background color is #41414b. In foreground click the gradient tab. Angle set to 23. Repeats set to 4. Click on the frame layer. Select all, Float - Defloat - Modify - contract - by 1. Layers, new raster layer. Fill with gradient color. Select None. IPL, right click the gradient layer and merge down to original frame layer. Give frame a drop shadow. I used, H&V = 2. Opacity = 85. Blur = 6. Color is black.

Make a new gradient color. Foreground color is #fff164, and background color is #fff8ad. In foreground gradient tab, make the Sunburst. Repeats = 5. H & V = 50.
Click the large flower layer. Select All - Float - Defloat. New Raster layer. Fill with gradient color. Selections - Modify - Expand - by 1. New Raster Layer. Fill with black. Select None. IPL, move the black layer below the gradient. Still on the black layer, go to Adjust - Softness - Soften. Duplicate the black layer and merge the two layers. Add a drop shadow.  IPL, delete the template flower. I applied a small noise to my flower. Adjust - Add/Remove Noise. Add Noise. Gaussian - Monochrom - set to 10.
Repeat these steps for the small flower.
Now,  click on the flower top. Select All. Float - Defloat. New Raster Layer. Fill with the foreground color only. Selections - Modify - Expand - by 1. New Raster Layer, fill with black. Select none. IPL, move the black layer below the gradient. Still on the black layer, go to Adjust - Softness - Soften - Soften more. Select None. IPL, right click gradient layer and merge down to black. Right click the flower top and merge down to small flower. Delete template flower top.

Ok, let's make another gradient. Foreground color is #268a34, and background color is 92e77c. In foreground gradient tab, set style to Linear. Angle = 35. Repeats = 4.
Click the rectangle. Select All - Float - Defloat. New Raster layer. Fill with gradient color. Keep active. Go to Effects - PlugIns - Xero - Fritillary. Settings : Granularity = 10. Aggression = 3. Tesselation = 30. Variation = 50.
Selections - Modify - Expand - by 1. New Raster Layer. Fill with black. Select none. IPL, move black layer below gradient layer. Adjust - Softness - soften. Apply drop shadow last used. Delete rectangle template layer.

Click on square 1. Select All - Float - Defloat. New Raster Layer. Fill with black. New Raster Layer. Selections - Modify - Contract - by 2. Fill this layer with a scrap paper, color or pattern of choice. I just happened to have a flower pattern that went well. Select None. Add same drop shadow to the black layer. Delete template square 1.

Now, let's have a little psp fun. lol Click on square 2. Select All. Float - Defloat. New Raster layer. Fill with black. Selections - Modify - Contract - by 2. New Raster Layer.
Go to your foreground pattern tab. I'm hoping your psp came with the same images as mine. I selected Graphic 22. This is the bigger black squares trimmed with white, pattern. Set angle to 45 and reduce scale to 50. Fill the new raster layer with this pattern. Select none.
Use your magic wand to click the white diamond pattern. Selections - Modify - Contract - by 2. Fill with this color, #fff166. Select None.
Using your magic wand, click each of the black squares, or just the ones showing.
Are you ready for yet another gradient color? lol Foreground color is #00650b, and background is #77d965. In foreground gradient tab, make the style Sunburst. Set Repeats to 3. Horizontal = 50. Vertical = 100. Keep active. Go to Effects - Texture - Soft Plastic. Settings: Blur = 8. Detail = 100. Density = 25. Angle = 45. Color = #ffff40. Now go to Effects - Texture - Weave. Settings: Gap size = 1. Width = 8. Opacity = 1. Gap color is white. Check in fill gaps. Select None. Delete template square2. Add drop shadow last used.

Click on the curvy strip. Select all - Float - Defloat. New Raster Layer. Fill with black. Selections - Modify - Contract - by 2. Fill with the gradient you just used for square 2. Select none. Apply drop shadow. Same as last used.

Click on the frame fill layer. Fill this with a light gradient color in your gradient selections. Keep other settings same as used for square 2. I chose a light blue. Now go to Effects - Texture - Blinds. Width = 4. Opacity = 50. Color = #2585d7. Check Horizontal. Repeat, only this time, Uncheck horizontal. Select None.

Click the white background layer. New Raster Layer. Fill this new layer with the same blue gradient you just used. Keep settings the same. Apply the same blinds effect as well. Apply a mask. I use a simple circular one. Layers - Merge Group.

Click on the broken dotted circle. Select All - Float - Defloat. New Raster Layer. Fill with black. Select none. Delete template circle. Add a drop shadow.

Add some embellishments of your choice, a name, and merge visible. Oh, and be sure to include a correct copyright. :)

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and found it easy to follow.
