Pretty Jenny

This tutorial is written using PSP9. A working knowledge of PSP is assumed.

Supplies Needed

Tube of choice. (One with a closeup helps)
I am using the art of Misticheskaya, which I purchased from
PicForDesign.

My Supplies (butterflies, papers, and sparkle line) HERE
Note: The sparkle line is a animation I've had for several years. I do not know the creator of it.
 
WinniMask.44.1. Here (7th one down from top of page 4)

Animation Shop

Font used is Cheddar Salad BTN Quill (This is a PTU font, so I cannot supply it)


NOTE:: This tutorial is written for the tube and materials I used. If you choose to use something different, you may need to adjust some settings.
* IPL = In Palette Layers

Let's Begin
Open template and my supplies (except for sparkle line) in psp.

Duplicate the template and delete the original. IPL, delete the credit layer. (I chose to keep the shadow layers marked delete. You can delete if you prefer.)

Click the white bg layer. Add a new raster layer. Fill with this color b1e3d4. Apply WinniMask 44.1. Layers - Merge Group. IPL, right click the mask layer and duplicate. Lower opacity to 50%. Right click and merge down with original mask layer.

Click on the bg rectangle. Select All - Float - Defloat. New Raster Layer - fill with one of the papers from my supplies. Selections - Modify - Expand - by 1. New Raster Layer. Fill with this color 589968. Select None. IPL, move the green layer below the paper layer and add a drop shadow. H & V = 2. Opacity = 75. Blur = 6. Color is Black. Delete the original bg rectangle layer.
Repeat these steps for the 2 bg squares.

Make a gradient color. Foreground color is  76c8b6, and background color is aae4d3. In foreground click the gradient tab. Style = Sunburst. Angle = 0. Repeats = 2. Check invert.

Click on flower1 fill. Select All - Float - Defloat. New Raster Layer - fill with the gradient color. Select None. IPL, delete the original fill layer. Click on flower1 outline. Give it a drop shadow. H & V = 0. Opacity = 75. Blur = 6. Color is black. IPL, right click and merge outline down to fill. Give it a drop shadow. H & V = 2. Opacity = 75. Blur = 6. Color is Black.
Repeat these steps for flower2 and for the flower circle.

Go to your foreground gradient tab. Center Point Settings: Horizontal = 18. Vertical = 25.

Click on the frame1 fill layer. Select All - Float - Defloat. New Raster Layer. Fill with gradient color. Select None. IPL, delete original fill layer. Repeat  these steps for frame2 fill layer.

Click on frame1 trim layer. Select all. Float - Defloat. New Raster Layer. Fill with this color d9f1eb. IPL, delete original trim layer. Repeat for frame2 trim layer.

Make a new gradient color. (If you prefer, just use the green gradient paper from My supplies.)
 Foreground color is 062e18, and background is 1e8060. Foreground gradient tab. Style = Linear. Angle = 45. Repeats = 4.


Click on frame1. Select All - Float - Defloat. New Raster Layer. Fill with new gradient color, or paper. Selections - Modify - Expand - by 1. New Raster Layer. Fill with black. Select none. IPL, delete original frame1. Move the black layer below the the green layer. Repeat these steps for frame2.

Click on the heart layers. Select All - Float - Defloat. New Raster Layer. Fill with this color ecabb4. Select None. IPL, delete original heart layers.
Effects - 3D - Inner Bevel. Settings: Bevel #2. Width = 31. Smoothness = 100. Depth = 4. Ambience = 0. Shininess = 0.  Apply a drop shadow. H & V = 2. Opacity = 75. Blur = 6. Color is Black.

Click on frame2 fill. Use your magic wand to click outside of the fill. Paste, as a new layer, your full size tube. Resize to your liking. Center it in the frame. Click the delete key. Select none.
Click on frame 1. Again, use the magic wand to  click outside the fill. Paste, as a new layer, your closeup tube. Size to your liking. Center it in the frame. Click the delete key.

Paste, as new layers, each of the butterflies. Place one of each side of your tag. Give them the same drop shadow you last used. IPL, right click any layer and merge visible.

Add correct copyright info.

If you are not going to add the sparkle line, go ahead and add your name text.
Merge all layers and save.

Copy your tag and paste as a new animation in Animation Shop.
Open the sparkle line, or star ani. in animation shop. You will notice it has 6 frames. You need to duplicate your tag so it too, as 6 frames. Right click your tag and click duplicate until you have the 6 frames.

Click on the sparkle line and type Ctrl  a   Ctrl c. Now, click on your tag and type Ctrl a  Ctrl  e. Place the line at the lower right side of your first frame. (see my tag). Repeat and this time make sure the bottom dot on the sparkle line is over the top dot of the first sparkle line.

Click on the sparkle line. Go up to Animation - Rotate. Left - click 90 degrees. Your sparkle line should now be horizontal. Type Ctrl  a  Ctrl  c.  Click on your tag and type Ctrl  a  Ctrl  e. Place the sparkle line to the upper left of the first frame. (see my tag). Repeat, and put the 1st dot on the left, over the last dot on the right of the first sparkle line.

Animation - View animation. If you like your tag, save as a mng file, for future use.

To add a name to your tag. Make name in psp and then paste, as a new animation, in animation shop. Go to Edit - Propagate paste.
Click on your name and type Ctrl  a  Ctrl  c. Click on your tag and type Ctrl a  Ctrl  e. Place name to the lower right of your tag.
Save as a gif.
