FOREVER

This tutorial was made using psp 9. Hopefully it will work in all psp versions.

Supplies Needed

A tube of choice. One with a close up works best.
I am using the art of Keith Garvey,

which I purchased from Garv-Girls PSP tubes
You must have a license to use his art.

Vix_BigMask018. You can find it HERE.

My Supplies (basic scraps) HERE

Fonts - Lace Dreams, and Mr.Sheffield

NOTE: This tutorial is written for the supplies and image I used. If you are using something different, you may need to adjust some settings.

IPL In Palette Layers

Let's begin.

Open supplies in psp.

In PSP, open a new image size 650 x 650, and flood fill white. Paste, as a new layer, paper 1. Apply Vix mask 018. Check fit to canvas. Layers - Merge Group.

Click on your rectangle shape tool. Make the line style solid and the width set to 6.  In your foreground color palette use this color, faefdd.
Draw out a vertical rectangle. The size should be about 240 x 352. Go to Objects - Align - Center of Canvas. Go to Layers - Convert to Raster layer.
(I sometimes have a faint edge around my shape. It drives me crazy, so I either duplicate two or three times IPL and merge the layers together. This gives a more solid look. Or I erase that edge.)

Rotate the frame 7 degrees to the left. Use your magic wand to click inside the frame. Selections - Modify - Expand - by 4. Paste, as a new layer, paper 2. Selections - Invert. Delete. Select None. IPL, move the fill layer below the frame layer.

Still on the fill layer, paste as a new layer, your tube. Resize to your liking. I resized down to 70%. Center your tube. Using your lasso tool, trace around the left and bottom sides of the frame and away, to encircle the parts of the tube your want to remove. Delete. Select None.  As you can see from my tag, I chose to leave the top and right sides of my tube showing below the frame. If you don't like that look, go ahead and erase it as well. Give the frame a drop shadow. H & V = 1. Opacity = 75. Blur = 4. Color = black.

IPL, duplicate your tube. Click on the original and change blend mode to Luminance Legacy. Set Opacity to 18. Click on the duplicate tube and change it's blend mode to Burn.
IPL, hide the white background and mask layer. Right click any other layer and merge visible. Unhide background and mask layers. Move your image up about half an inch.

Paste, as a new layer, the heart pin. Place it at the upper right side of the image. Give it a drop shadow. Now erase a portion of the middle. Use your soften brush and smudge the end of the pin that was erased.

Paste, as a new layer, the floral stem. Rotate to the right about 10 degrees. Place at the lower edge of the frame. Give a drop shadow. Paste as a new layer, the staple. Place at the left end of the stem. Give a drop shadow.

Paste, as a new layer, the garden lattice. Place at the upper right of tag. Move it to just above the mask layer.
Apply the same Vix mask with the same settings. Layers - Merge group. Duplicate.

Paste, as a new layer, the leaf stem. Move it below the frame layer and to the right side of tag. Just above the lattice. Reduce opacity to 40 %.

Paste, as a new layer, the wild rose. Position it below the frame layer and to the bottom left. (see my tag) Duplicate. Click on the original. Change blend mode to luminance. Reduce opacity to 22.
Click on the duplicate wild rose. Change it's blend mode to soft light.

Paste, as a new layer, the red rose. Place it to the upper left and below the frame layer. Duplicate. Click on the original. Change blend mode to luminance. Reduce opacity to 16.
Click on the duplicate  red rose. Change it's blend mode to soft light.

Paste, as a new layer, the black and grey butterfly. Place it above the frame, and slightly over the red rose. Move it just above the rose layer. Change the Blend Mode to Luminance Legacy. Reduce opacity to 28.

Paste, as a new layer, the multi-colored butterfly. Reduce size down to 50%. Rotate right by 11%. Move it above the frame layer and position it to the middle left side of frame. Let a small tip of a wing to overlap the frame layer. (see my tag)

Open your text. Font is Lace Dreams, size 30 Bold. Kerning set to 10. Background color only. Color is c50000. All caps, type out FOREVER. Apply. Edit - Copy. Edit - Undo text. Paste text as a new layer. Move to the bottom of tag. (see my tag) Change Blend mode to to Overlay. Opacity down to 68.

Add copyright and name. Merge Visible and save.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and found it easy to follow.
