AgeOfInnocence

A working knowledge of PSP is assumed.

Supplies Needed

Tube of choice.
I am using the beautiful art of Melanie Delon, which I purchased from CDO.

Mask, BP_grunge1. HERE

A round or oval mask from psp files.
(My psp came with a round mask, I'm assuming yours did as well.)

My supplies  HERE

Font used is Edwardian Script ITC

NOTE: This tutorial is written for the supplies I used. I you are using something different, you may need to adjust some settings.

IPL = In Palette Layers

Let's Begin

In PSP, open a new image size 650 x 650. Flood fill with white.
Paste, as a new layer, your image. I chose to use the original png image instead of the tube.
IPL, right click and duplicate. Hide the duplicate for now.

Click on the original and apply the mask. Select fit to canvas and invert transparency.
Layers - Merge Group. IPL, right click and duplicate. Right click the top image and merge down.

Unhide the image duplicate. Using your rectangle selection tool, draw out a square around the face only. Selections - Invert. Delete. Select None. Apply a round mask. Check fit to layer.
Layers - Merge group. IPL, right click and merge down with other image.

Paste, as a new layer, the frame from my supplies. Resize to your liking. Add a drop shadow. H & V = 2. Opacity = 100. Blue = 6. Color black.

Paste, as a new layer, the heart pin. Place it below the frame to the right. Add same drop shadow you just used. Erase about an inch from the top of the pin. Use your pen tool, solid line, size 1, with this color, 1f3a2c. Draw about a 1/4 inch vertical line at each open end of the pin. Layers - Convert to Raster Layer. Adjust - Softness - soften.

Paste, as a new layer, the bow. Position it atop the heart and give it the same drop shadow.

Paste, as a new layer, the word art. Place it below the frame and to the left.

The tube came with an extra layer, the butterflies. Paste them as a new layer. Increase their size up to 110.  IPL, right click and duplicate. On the duplicate, change the blend mode to multiply. Reduce it's opacity to 60. Right click and merge down to original. Add a drop shadow. Place the butterflies over the same ones on the original image. Be sure the butterflies are a layer above the frame layer.

Add copyrights and a name. Merge all layers and save.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and found it easy to follow
