Butterfly Party

A working knowledge of psp is assumed.

Supplies Needed

Tube of choice. One with a close up works best.
I am using the art of Roman Zaric, which I purchased from PTE.
Unfortunately that store is no longer open and I don't know if Zaric has joined another store.

SE_template12, made by me. HERE

rnd_fade mask HERE

WSL mask 219 HERE

My Supplies HERE (floral paper and butterflies)

Font used is Scriptina

NOTE: This tutorial is written for the supplies I used. If you are using something different, you may need to change some settings.
(If your tube comes with full leg length, you may want to erase them from mid calf downward.)

IPL = In Palette Layers

Let's Begin

Open template in psp. Type shift  D to duplicate. Delete original. IPL, delete the credit layer. Open other supplies in psp. Click on the bg paper. Go to Effects - Image Effects - Seamless tiling. Setting: Check corner, bidirectional, and linear. Transition = 50.

Paste, as a new layer, your whole tube. Keep it centered, but move to the bottom of the tag. Add a drop shadow. H & V = 1. Opacity = 50. Blur = 6. Color is black.
Apply the rnd_fade mask. Check fit to canvas. Layers - Merge Group. Move the tube up and center it with the circle.  See my tag.

Click on the circle layer. Select all - float - defloat. Paste, as a new layer, the bg paper. Selection - invert. Delete. IPL, delete the template circle layer. IPL, right click the flower layer and duplicate. Change the blend mode of the duplicate to multiply. Reduce opacity to 50. IPL, right click the duplicate and merge down to original. Add the same shadow you used for the tube.

Click on the rectangle layer. Select All. Float - Defloat. New Raster Layer. Fill with a color from the bg paper. I chose 5f4c7f. Select None. Go to Adjust - Add/Remove Noise. Add noise. Setting: Check Gaussian and monochrome. Noise 12%.
Now, go to Effects - Texture - Blinds. Setting: Width = 5. Opacity = 100. Color is#b3a7c9. Check horizontal and light from the top. Add same shadow as before. Delete template layer.

Click on the open rectangle. Select All - Float - Defloat. New Raster Layer. Fill with a color from the bg paper. I chose  5f4c7f. Select none. Apply same noise as before.  Go to Effects - 3D - Inner Bevel. Settings: Bevel = 5. Width = 2. Smoothness = 8. Depth = 2. Ambience = 0. Shininess = 15. Give a drop shadow. H & V = 1. Opacity = 100. Blur = 6. Color is black. Delete template layer.

Click on layer arc 1, do the same instructions you just used for the open rectangle.

Click on layer arc 2. Do it the same as you did for arc 1, only make the color, d7d3e3.

IPL, right click strip 1 and merge it down with strip 2. Now right click that and merge down with strip3. Select All, Float - Defloat. New Raster Layer. Go to your foreground color palette and click the pattern tab. Select the bg flower paper. Change the scale to 30. Fill the three strips with this paper. Select none. Apply the last shadow you used. Delete template layer.

Click on the V rectangle. Select All - Float - Defloat. Paste, as a new layer, your tube close up. If your tube doesn't fill the whole rectangle, increase it's size until it does. Selections - Invert. Delete. Select none. Delete template layer.
Right click the tube and duplicate. Click on the original tube layer. Go to Effects - Texture - Weave. Settings: Gap size = 3. Width = 150. Opacity = 100. Colors are both black. Check fill gaps. Give this layer a drop shadow.
Click on the duplicate tube layer. Go to Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur - 4. Set blend mode to Soft Light.

Click on the white bg layer. Now add a new Raster Layer and fill with a color from your tube or paper. I chose d8cbe5. Apply the mask WSL 219. Layers - Merge Group. Increase size to 110.  Give it the same noise effect except change to 25. Reduce opacity to 50.

Paste, as a new layer, each of the butterflies. Rotate and resize to your liking. Place along the top of your tag. See my tag.
